Tax Deductions and Policy for Acknowledgements

It is the policy of The Rainbow Connection to acknowledge each donation. However, for any donations of cash or goods requiring official written acknowledgement from The Rainbow Connection, it is necessary to adhere to the following:

1. Donations made by check must be made to The Rainbow Connection.
2. Cash donations must be receipted.
3. Donations of goods must be receipted. The cost of donated goods or services must be the fair market value and include a full description.

For auditing purposes, The Rainbow Connection will provide forms for all cash donations and for the donation of goods.

I have read the criteria for taxable donations and agree to provide necessary documentation to The Rainbow Connection for donations that require a written acknowledgement.
