We are SO honored to share an incredibly special milestone: Since 1985, The Rainbow Connection has granted 4,700 wishes! Today, we’re celebrating Cicely, a sweet 2 year old from Oxford, who is our 4,700th wish recipient!
Cicely was diagnosed with a heart condition in October 2025 after she began to frequently get very sick. Her parents took her to the ER, and she was transferred to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital where she spent several months waiting for a heart transplant. In June 2026, Cicely received her new heart! She is now doing wonderfully, and she and her family are finally home together, looking forward to an exciting new chapter.
And what better way to celebrate than with a little Disney magic?!
Cicely’s wish is to go to Disney World in January 2027, and we couldn’t be more excited to help make it come true! She LOVES all things Disney. Her favorite movie is Moana, which she watched every day while in the hospital. We can’t wait for Cicely to experience the magic of Disney, meet her favorite characters and princesses and make memories with her family that will last a lifetime.
